Assists in training new Maintenance Partners Assists CCM or ASM in supervising 3-5 Maintenance Representatives Writes daily job lists for Maintenance Partners Provides superlative customer service Maintains Store cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization - Uses H-E-B chemical program; correctly organizes / maintains stock in maintenance room Empties / cleans trash receptacles throughout the shift Ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards / SOPs Communicates maintenance needs, problems, or solutions to Store Leaders Performs minor maintenance repairs Maintains ceiling air vents; replaces light bulbs Performs Maintenance Representative duties frequently; performs other duties as needed What is your background? Minimum age 18 (mandatory) Experience in maintenance (preferred) Experience supervising (preferred) Completion of Company Orientation, Basics of Safety training, and In-store orientation Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Maintenance Specialist? Knowledge of department product, food preparation, and equipment required Knowledge of OSHA guidelines Strong customer service skills Ability to take initiative and do what needs to be done Ability to prioritize competing tasks Can you Work in a fast-paced environment Constantly walk, reach at waist, grasp Frequently push / pull with arms Occasionally stand, reach overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, crawl, climb stairs, climb ladders, pivot, twist, pinch, perform fine motor movements Occasionally be exposed to cold, ambient temperatures, loud noise and wet conditions Demonstrate the ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 50 lbs While there may be exceptions, the measurements noted are generally defined as-Constantly:
